How do I get started on Circuit?
If you’re invited to an organization with Circuit, then signing up is as easy as clicking through the email request to join, and setting up a stripe account to receive or make payments. If you miss the link, you can always go to www.circuit.app on any device and enter your email address to have the link re-sent.
If you have not received an invitation to join or you would like to create your own organization, please reach out to us via email or phone.
Stripe account linked to app > Coaches/Directors/UIC’s pays via bank account or credit card > deposited into officials bank account. Each official will have the ability to sign up for a stripe account through Circuit and begin receiving payments directly into his or her bank account.
Stripe is a multi-billion-dollar payment processor who’s services are very similar to PayPal. Stripe processes payments for companies like Lyft, Fitbit, and Pinterest.
What fees are associated with using Circuit?
For an Official:
The application is free. All you need to do is go to www.circuit.app to set up your account in order to receive payments. There is no fee associated with using Circuit for Officials
For a Tournament Director (Pay at the plate model):
The application is free. All you need to do is call or email Circuit so we can set up your organization. Once set up as your Organization, you can easily add umpires and coaches into their respective divisions or tournaments. There is no fee for Tournament Directors when using Circuit's Pay At the Plate model.
For the Coaches or Teams:
The application is free and it is easy to set up your account to make payments, but there is a small transaction fee associated with every game. The fee is much less when you use ACH versus credit card. So, even though the credit card set up is faster and easier, please continue to add your ACH information to keep the fees as low as possible.
Official Association, Recreation League or Tournament Director (Organization Pay Model):
The application is free and it is easy to set up your account to make payments, but there is a small transaction fee associated with every game. The fee is much less when you use ACH versus credit card. So, even though the credit card set up is faster and easier, please continue to add your ACH information to keep the fees as low as possible.
How are Taxes and 1099 forms processed?
Circuit takes away the administrative burden of Filing 1099’s. To learn how,

How long will it take for the officials to be paid?
Stripe typically takes 1-3 days for the funds to be available in your account. Be on the lookout for an update coming soon to the Circuit Application which would allow any Payment Receiver to “get paid now.”
